FAQ of Bon Port campsite

General

What are the opening dates of the campsite ?
The campsite will be open from 09 April to 25 September 2022. It is completely closed the rest of the year.
What are the reception hours?
In low season, the reception is open from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm, from Monday to Friday. In high season, we are open 7 days a week, from 8am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 7pm.
How to get to the campsite?
The campsite is located in Lunel. Just leave the A9 motorway at the Lunel exit and follow the road to the sea, which leads down to La Grande Motte.
Are there shuttles?
No, no shuttle bus is available … we strongly advise you to come by car, or to rent one.
Is there direct access to the sea?
No, there is no direct access to the sea. However, the beaches are less than 15 minutes away by car. They are also accessible now thanks to the Voie Verte, a cycle track which joins Lunel and La Grande Motte. Bicycles are available for hire in high season at the campsite reception.

Reservation

When do I have to pay for my stay in full?
A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking. The total amount of your stay must be paid one month before your arrival.
Can I cancel my stay?
If you have taken out Covered Campers cancellation insurance, yes. If you have not subscribed to a cancellation insurance, here are the conditions which apply: In the event of cancellation before arrival, interruption of stay, or postponement of arrival and whatever the cause, illness, accident, or unforeseen event, the tenant will be required to pay the balance of the reservation and no refund will be granted.
How does cancellation insurance work?
When you make your reservation, you will have the opportunity to pay an additional fee to take out our Campeg Covered cancellation insurance. If you have to cancel your stay, you can then make a claim to the organisation. You can find more information on the “Cancellation Insurance” page of our website.
Can I book a specific pitch?
Yes, subject to availability. For this, please make a request directly by email or by phone.
Is there a mobile home accessible to PRMs?
Yes, the Life PMR mobile home (described in the accommodation section) is fully adapted with a spacious shower and raised beds.

Arrival

What are the arrival times?
For mobile homes, arrivals are possible from 4pm until 8pm in high season, until 7pm in low season. For pitches, they are accessible from 2pm and until 8pm in high season, until 7pm in low season. Beyond these times, please inform the reception beforehand so that they can tell you what to do in case of late arrival.
What payment methods are accepted?
The means of payment accepted are: bank card, cheques, ANCV holiday vouchers, ANCV Connect, cash, bank transfers.
Do I have to leave a deposit?
Yes, a deposit of 300€ is required for the mobile homes and 90€ for the cleaning. For the Privilege range mobile homes, the cleaning deposit is 120€. They must be left online before your arrival. You will receive an email explaining the procedure to follow.
Is there a household option available?
Yes, provided that you inform the reception in advance and pay the supplement corresponding to the cleaning deposit for the mobile home in question.
Is there a tourist tax to pay?
Yes, the tourist tax is 0.35€ per day and per person over 18 years old. If you book directly with us, you will have the possibility to pay it with the balance of your booking. For bookings with our partners, you will probably have to pay it on the spot on your arrival.

Stay

Can we come with 2 cars?
On the Patio, Lodge and Tribu mobile homes, 2 cars are included in the price of the reservation. For all other mobile homes or pitches, the second vehicle can be parked inside the campsite, for a supplement of 5€/day or 25€/week.
Is it compulsory to wear the bracelet?
Yes, wearing a wristband is totally compulsory for all guests staying at our campsite, and this for the entire duration of their stay.
Are swimming shorts or wetsuits allowed in the pool?
For reasons of hygiene, swimming shorts or wetsuits are strictly forbidden in the pools of our aquatic area.
Can I add a person to my stay on arrival?
No. All persons participating in the stay must be registered at least 24 hours before your arrival. If there is a change between the day of your booking and your arrival, please inform us as soon as possible by email.
Are children and babies counted in the capacity of the mobile home?
Yes, children and babies are counted as people and therefore contribute to the capacity of the mobile home.
Do we need to bring sheets, towels, pillows, blankets?
Pillows and blankets are provided. You will need to bring your own sheets and towels. If you don’t have room in the car or simply don’t want to bring them, you can rent them. Just remember to do it in advance! We can’t promise to have a supply if you ask for them on the day of your arrival.
Are visits accepted?
Visitors are only accepted in low season, and must be presented at the reception on arrival. Access to the aquatic area is strictly forbidden.
How many amperes are there at the location terminals?
There are 6 amps available for each slot.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed in the Grand Large and Family mobile homes, as well as on the camping pitches, except for category 1 and 2 dogs, and for a supplement of 30€/week. The vaccination certificate must be up to date and presented on arrival. Only one animal is allowed per rental or pitch.
Are barbecues allowed?
Yes, but only gas barbecues. You can also use an electric barbecue, but you have to be careful with the amperage of the mobile home and turn off any other appliance (air-conditioning, dishwasher, microwave, etc.) while using the barbecue. Charcoal barbecues are strictly forbidden in order to avoid any risk of fire, as the campsite has many planted trees.
What services can I hire?
You will find all the services available on the ‘Services’ page of the campsite.
Can I put up a tent in front of my mobile home?
No, it is strictly forbidden to install a tent on the mobile home pitches.
Is wifi available on the campsite?
Yes, we have a free Wifi access in low season, and paying in high season. Prices are available at the reception during your stay.

Departure

What time should I vacate my mobile home or pitch?
The mobile home must be vacated between 8:00 and 10:00. The pitches must be vacated by 12.00 noon. Any departure outside these times must be reported to the reception. For any urgent departure during the night, please advise the caretaker whose number will be given to you on arrival.
Do I need to make an appointment with the reception to inspect my mobile home?
Yes, you can make an appointment at any time during your stay and within the opening hours of the reception.
