Marseille is a journey in itself, only an hour and a half from the campsite. We all know its emblematic places by name: Canebière, Parc Borely, Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde, Alpilles dear to Van Gogh, Prado beach, Velodrome stadium, Panier district, creeks, not forgetting the cabins of the Estaque port. The lively Cours Julien is worth a visit, as is the Château d’If, the setting for Alexandre Dumas’ Count of Monte Cristo. Finally, don’t miss the ultra-contemporary Mucem and its lacy architecture before returning to your mobile home or tent pitch in Lunel.
Campsite in Provence, 40 minutes from Bouches-du-Rhône
Aix-en-Provence, also 1h30 from our campsite in the heart of the Bouches-du-Rhône, seduced the Impressionist painters with its elegance and light. Set against the Sainte-Victoire mountain, it oscillates between modernity and the refinement of a 19th century Provencal town where Paul Cézanne was born.
It is good to enjoy the shaded terraces of the Cours Mirabeau between fountains and pastry shops full of calissons. Discover Aix in a beautiful way by taking the route linking the family home and the studio of the painter who is the city’s emblem. In Baux-de-Provence, you will be delighted to linger in front of the typical Provencal market stalls with their scents of garrigue.
To refresh yourself on your return from your excursion, our water park with swimming pool and slides awaits you in the campsite near Bouches du Rhone ! Bon Port****, only an hour and a half from Bouches-du-Rhône!

Campsite between Arles and Saintes Maries de la Mer
Then there is Saintes Maries de la Mer, also 40 minutes away from campsite Bon Port****, and symbol of the Camargue, where the history of the crusades, the gypsies, the herdsmen and the salt marshes is mixed together. At its feet, the ornithological park of Pont de Gau offers a concentration of typical fauna and flora.
It is not uncommon to see a Roussataïo of mares, a festival loved by children. Arles and Les Saintes Maries organise various themed férias from spring to autumn, which are very enjoyable during family holidays. Note that the Camargue is also formed by the departments of Gard and Hérault in the south of France, where the Petite Camargue is located.
